I've kind of noticed that some people like to put two wards relatively close to each other. I know that the 2 wards offer alot of sight information on that particular area, but here are my reasons that you should only make do with one.

a) Wards are limited
b) Wards placed together, weaken their value, (overlap + most likely cover similar transit points).

So from those two points, you would want wards to cover as much "area" as you could, which means not placing them together. Just my opinion, but yeah.

Yea i think if youre going to have more than your top/bot river then you just have to kinda read the game a bit and decide if u need defencive or offensive wards???? like if we sent and defence then like on hill next to small camp, or if offence then on the hill on left of their mid tower. Stuff like that i rekon. But its just dangerous placing sometimes. Im guilty of double warding sometimes too.

THESE ARE JUST PLACES WHERE IF YOU PUT THE WARD IN A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT SPOT IT GIVES YOU A DIFFERENT VIEW.

Ok. Sorry about the images being so big, couldnt get the thumbnail smaller. Anyhow.

1) Allows you to see if somebody is going to roshan (Remember that not many people roshan in scrims). You can see rune (not sure about night time but i think you still can.) And some river.
2) General pub warding spot. You can see rune and some river
3) Basically just #2 but on the other side of the river. Depending where you put it, you may be able to see slightly up the ramp but I cant remember it totally.
4) Bit of an unknown spot, gives you a good view of the top bit of river, aswell as rune in daylight (I think it does)
5) General pub warding spot. You can see rune, some river and sometimes somebody creeping
6) Placing here gives you a view of the top part of the river, (i think aswell as the rune).

USES:
1) allows you to see if ganks are coming from bot as sometimes they can bypass the runes by going through the forrest not the river.
2) Allows you to see ganks from bot coming from river
3) Allows you to see ganks from bot coming from river
4) Allows you to see alot more at top, helping with ganks although you not be able to see the rune.
5) Allows you to see ganks from top coming from river
6) Allows you to see a gank coming from the forrest, aslong as it passes through that stretch of water (the one under the sun symbol)

lol at "pub ward spots" thout they didnt exist. Those were all in that warding guide without the "maybes", sorry to be a kill-joy lol.

and its 6 (or bit higher, u gota be on top side of the tree) that sees them creeping, not 5. and yes 4 can see rune. Also i tend to go 3 if im scourge rather then sent(just a random comment)

People have been roshing in scrims recently. Only in longer games though.

I call them pub ward spots because they are the only ones that pubs use.

Granted I didn't read the guide so it may have been updates since I last did.
Hope any were helpful for you.

If u look at spot 5, then the three trees below, opposite them is a nice spot i find, u can see about 4 entrances to the river, bot the bottom 2, and the top two + the rune

yeah thats a good spot if your bot lane, it like fully protects you from ganks, unless they come from lane.

5, Doesn't give sight of the creep spawn however six does which is why its a far better spot to ward although people generally can't wrap their head around placing a ward behind a tree cause thats too much effort. There is no additional reason to ward at 5 over 6 so its a pointless spot.

Yeah but thats a terrible place for scourge to ward. You could jsut ward somewhere else for increased vision.
